PURCHASING & SHIPPING

I have taken every care to show my artwork as accurately as possible regarding size and colour. The image you see online may show a difference due to slight variation between browsers, devices, and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and slight inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

Ordering

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through Stripe or PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. I do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Shipping

I have placed my order; how soon will I receive my painting?
Original paintings will be packed and shipped within 5 working days. UK destinations are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need delivery by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

I have placed my order; how soon will I receive my print?
All prints are made to order and will be arranged with my local printers. This process can take up to 10 days to complete before the print is with me where I can then sign and send on to you. UK destinations are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on size and weight. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 15 working days in total.

Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes. Once in the checkout process, in the order option section you will find a separate tab for ‘pick up.’ Once you have placed your order, I will email you and we can work out a mutually convenient time for you to collect. My home is in Hallatrow, BS39.

Is Shipping included?
Yes, most artwork has an estimated shipping cost included at checkout based on the size of the work and your location.
Note: At the current time shipping costs are varying significantly due to Covid-19 restrictions, especially on-air freight. If the actual cost of shipping is significantly more than quoted, I reserve the right to discuss this with you and to refuse the sale.

Can you ship internationally?
I don’t currently ship internationally merely because I can’t work out the shipping process through the website (I’m still learning!) but if you see something you love and want it shipped internationally please send me a message (using contact me button or email gbelford@me.com) and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour, and transit fees.

In addition, due to Brexit it is not clear what extra charges will be

made for EU customers. I don’t want you to have unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling charges so at the current time I won’t be able to ship to EU countries.

BUT – if there is something you have seen and love and are OK with the possible fees charged at customs do, please email me.

Returns

What if my painting arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork, so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If an original painting is not as you expect, you have 14 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned, I will refund your payment within 14 days.

Do you give a refund on prints if I change my mind?
No. All prints are custom made and arranged with my printers once an order is placed, I therefore don’t hold any in stock, so I am unable to refund prints.

What if my painting arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact me within 7 days with a photograph.

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time, I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
