This painting has a soft duck egg colour palette with pops of brights too. It has sumptuous textural layers and expressive mark making with a delicate touch of 23ct gold leaf. It was inspired by my woodland walks in spring, through 2020, and speaks of how I was ever hopeful our balance would return and life would be more colourful again.
