I wanted the 4 paintings in this series to create a sense of space and calm. The 4 paintings were painted together to gve them a very similar colour palette of soft grey blues and soft dusky pinks but all with a pop of warm yellow and punchy orange. The 23ct gold leaf heart sits comfortably amongst these inviting colours. Circles in time was inspired by the feeling of contentment and a feeling of wanting to make time slow down. The paintings in this series are luminosity, circles in time, winds of change and moving gently.
